Case Study: Blume Envision 2023 – Inaugural Conference Branding & Marketing Ecosystem

Overview

Blume Envision 2023 was the company’s inaugural flagship conference—a new annual gathering for supply chain and logistics professionals, industry thought leaders, and users of Blume’s products and services. As Lead Designer, I was responsible for creating the complete visual identity and all marketing collateral for the event.

My goal was to craft a cohesive, elevated brand experience that reflected innovation, trust, and momentum in the logistics and supply chain space. This included everything from digital promotion to onsite environmental design.

Project Goals

• Establish a distinct and memorable design vision for the first-ever Blume Envision conference.
• Ensure consistency across every touchpoint: pre-event marketing, digital presence, signage, and print materials.
• Highlight the event’s value as the premier gathering for supply chain leaders.
• Drive registrations through cohesive promotional assets and a compelling event landing page.

 

Approach

1. Event Brand Concept & Visual System

I developed the overarching creative direction rooted in themes of:

  • Global movement and flow

  • Connectivity across supply chain ecosystems

  • Innovation and forward-thinking logistics

This visual foundation included:

  • A dedicated color palette distinct from, but complementary to, Blume’s brand

  • Custom graphic motifs representing global movement

  • A polished typographic system for both digital and physical environments

  • Photography treatments and patterns to unify the entire event look

2. Pre-Event Marketing & Promotions

Landing Page Design

Created a responsive event landing page that served as the primary hub for registration and conference details.
Features included:

  • Clear event value proposition

  • Speaker highlights

  • Agenda preview

  • Integrated brand visuals and motion elements

  • Optimized layout for conversions and readability

Save-the-Date & Email Marketing

Designed multiple email assets, including:

  • Save-the-date announcement

  • Registration open email

  • Speaker reveal emails

  • Countdown reminders

Each email followed the event’s visual system while maintaining clarity and performance for email delivery.

Social Media Assets

Created a full social campaign package, including:

  • Speaker promo graphics (individual and carousel versions)

  • General event promotions

  • Countdown and teaser graphics

  • Square, horizontal, and vertical formats for multi-channel use

These assets drove awareness and engagement leading up to the event.

3. Event Collateral & Environmental Design

Print + Digital Agenda Materials

Designed detailed agenda assets in both print and digital formats for attendees, ensuring:

  • Intuitive layout

  • Readability at a glance

  • Brand consistency throughout

Posters, Banners & Large-Format Graphics

Produced all environmental graphics to support the event experience:

  • Conference welcome banners

  • Session posters

  • Directional banners

  • Stage backdrops and digital screen slides

  • Hallway and registration area graphics

Each piece was optimized for scale and cohesion in the venue space.

Wayfinding & Signage System

Developed a clear signage system that guided attendees through the venue, including:

  • Directional arrows

  • Room-identification signage

  • Registration instructions

  • Sponsor & breakout session signage

This ensured a seamless and intuitive attendee journey.

Name Tags & Identification Materials

Created name tag systems with color-coded tiers for:

  • Attendees

  • Speakers

  • Staff

  • VIPs

    Clear hierarchy and layout ensured easy recognition throughout the conference.

 

Impact

A Unified, Elevated Conference Identity

The event’s visual system created a cohesive brand presence—from pre-event awareness to onsite experience—strengthening Blume’s position as a leader in supply chain innovation.

High Engagement in Pre-Event Promotion

The landing page, email marketing, and social campaigns drove strong registration numbers and engaged Blume’s existing customer base along with new prospects.

Seamless Onsite Experience

The clear and consistent signage, agendas, and navigation assets helped ensure attendees could move comfortably through the event, resulting in positive feedback from staff and participants.

A Scalable Branding Framework for Future Envision Events

The system I created now serves as the starting point for all future Envision conference branding, shortening production timelines and increasing recognition year over year.
